Notes We just traded in this very clean 2002 Volkswagon Passat GLX sedan at our Lexus dealership. The Carfax report is clean and shows no accidents. For a 140,000 mile car I was very impressed with not only how the Passat drove but just how well the previous owner took care of it. They used the all weather matts and have a set of carpet floor maps in the trunk. There is one small scratch on the hood ( see picture ) that we will have touched up and a little curb rash on two of the wheels, but other than those two things nothing else really stood out to me. The tan leather interior is in great condition with no signs of any abnormal wear. Also the Passat has never been smoked in and shows no signs of smoker's damage. We will do a 27 point safety inspection which will include another oil change, checking the brakes etc..... and the timing belt was done at 90k.
