Here is a very nice 1981 Firebird that has been cloned into a 1970-1973 Formula 455. Featuring a Factory fiberglass hood with open scoops and a enduro front bumper taken from a 1970 parts car.It has been my pride and joy for a number of years and now its time to move on, Its kinda hard to fit a rear facing car seat in the back of this car if you know what i mean. She was primarily my weekend driver ass i stopped driving her everyday when i replaced the motor with the 455.She is in good cosmetic shape but does have the typical cancer spots on the bottom of the front rear fenders along with the front and rear portion of the doors the drivers side being the worst, None of the rust spots are really bad its just bubbling under the paint. The front of the car was hit while parked on the street as you can see in the pictures however this did not dent the fender just scraped the paint some. And other than the typical parking lot dings and scratches she really shows her age pretty darn good. Ok enough of the bad stuff heres the good stuff.It started out life as buick 231 v6 car and has been upgraded to a 1971 Buick 455 big block motor with less than 3000 miles on the rebuild. I have a clean Delaware title on hand ready for the buyer. Heres the breakdown.The motor was rebuilt about 2 years ago consisting ofBored .30 over new pistons rods crank lifters etc"the only thing that wasn't replaced was the block oil pan and heads.Double roller timing chain Stage 1 Edelbrock Aluminum intake manifold Stage 1 Carburetor QuadrajetHei ignition replacing the points I would not be afraid to drive this car around the world. 350 transmission shifts strong with installed factory ratchet shifterI also have a 400 transmission with yoke that can go with the car if wanted Other replaced items on the car New Goodyear Eagle II tire replaced as of last spring Seat covers and dash cover 2008 Replace all subframe bushingsT-tops installed from 1977 trans am new t-top seals installed Passenger side glass is cracked front to back ive been meaning to replace it but it never bothered me as you cant see it from the outside looking in. Custom dual Texas Trans Am mufflers exiting in front of rear wheels aluminized down pipes from manifolds. New 4 core radiator replaced last spring. Replaced rear with air shocks Replaced front shocksNew weatherstripping throughout Things that could used to be replaced to make really nice Carpet Door panelsDrives side door handle is cracked still can get into car though easy fix but hard with a baby.
