This old 1962 Ford pickup is ready for a new home. The truck is registered with a clear California title. It is a true survivor and these are getting hard to find untouched. This generation of Ford truck spanned from 1961 to 1966. The truck features a Ford straight six and a manual 3 speed on the column. The engine seems to be stuck. The old man who I bought the truck from said it ran when he parked it a few years ago. It may need to lubed up to get back on the road OR just add add a V8. The body of this old truck is fairly straight. The floors and cab corners are sold but it does have some rust on the hood and top of the cab (see pics). The cockpit still retains its original bench seat that needs to be recovered. The original dash is uncut and still retains its original paint. The truck's electrical system is in working order. The headlights, taillights, turn signals, and brake lights, are all working. The truck still retains its original 15 inch steel wheel and hub caps. The skinny white wall tires look almost new with plenty of tread life left. The truck still has matching blue and yellow Folsom State Prison made California license plates. Includes the rare spotlight / rearview mirror combo that come installed from the dealer. Overall this truck is good restoration candidate as it is so original. OR hot rod/customize it to your tastes. The odometer reads about 86k. The man I bought it from has owned the truck since 1964 and claims it is the original mileage. The truck is sold where-is as-is no warranty expressed or implied.
