I am selling this 1979 Ford LTDII premium sports coupe. This was a two year only, limited production car and not seen very often. All of the hard to find parts and items are there and in good condition. It has the 302 motor, automatic transmission and air conditioning. An a/c hose needs replaced. The body is good except for dings here & there. I see no evidence of past, or present, rust or collision damages or repairs at all. I didn't remove carpets, crawl underneath etc., but other than a quarter size spot on the right rear lower quarter, and two surface rust spots on the left front fender, everything appears to be rust free and original paint all over. The original vynil top was dry rotted and removed by the owner. I took pictures so you can see there is no rust or cancer in the roof like happened to a lot of cars with vynil tops. The tires are real good with all being at least 60-70% tread all around. It has four nice aluminum rims with spinners. The interior is needs cosmetic restoration. It is all there and nothing is missing. It has the optional bucket seats, console & floor shifter. All windows, includeing the front windshield are good. All lights and lenses are in good condition. The car runs & drives good and was driven daily until brought here. However, it has an exhaust leak and will be needing exhaust work before the next inspection. It should drive home to anywhere with no problem. You or you mechanic are free to to come look at, or inspect the car, with an appointment prior to bidding. We haven't done any "clean & detail" etc. You are viewing the vehicle as it was brought to us. This is being sold with no reserve. So bid now and don't loose out!!! This is a very rare vehicle and with proper restoration has great investment potential. The buyer will be responsible for Texas tax & title fees and transfer before the car or title is released unless you are a dealer, The car is sold as is where is with no warrantty expressed or implied. Vehicle must be picked up within ten days or twenty-five dollars per day storage charged. If not removed with thirty days, buyer will forefit the sale and any monies paid, and vehicle will be resold.
