1990 Mazda Miata convertible, I purchased for wife as a toy, she said I could spend no more on motorcycles until she got a convertible. She has enjoyed this one so much she wants a newer model this is the only reason we are selling. When I bought the car I replaced the struts, tires, and had the front end aligned. I put a new air filter intake kit on it, still have the orginal air box. Installed a stabilizer bar that connects between the struts to improve handling. I put a new pioneer radio with aux input and new speakers in it. I replaced the trim around the radio and added a storage compartment under the radio. Also added a leather pad on the console, adds comfort for arm rest. It has a racing beat muffler with chrome tip and I have a tube that goes in place of the cat converter, for off road use of course, I have the orginal converter for it. Sounds great, not a buzzing sounds but a deep tone. Al Pop up headlights do work. Car runs and drives great, very fun to drive and gets approx 30 mpg. Also has aftermarket Borbet wheels. I have taken some curves and can not get the tires to even slip. Has only approx 84,000 miles on it. Now for the issues, paint has a few chips but I would say it is in excellent condition for a 20 year old car. As you can see in pictures it shines up good. Has a small dent in the front driver’s fender. Something fell on it while it was in storage for the winter. We have had it for a couple of years and the air conditioning worked great until this year when we took out of storage from winter and it did not blow cold. Had it charged and worked great most of the summer and then stopped. Needs to be charged and some dye added and leak fixed. I jumped the compressor and it kicked in so compressor is good. Driver’s seat has some wear on edge, sits so low you have to slide in and this has worn side of seat. Have two very small holes in top where it folds when you put it down. I put silicone on them and this keeps from leaking until it comes off and I redo. It does not leak unless you are in hard rain or the carwash. For most part the top is in good condition, I think it is the orginal top. Includes all stock covers, one covers the roof when it is down, has one to cover the area behind the seats, and also has a tonneau cover, you can drop the top and it covers the passenger seat and snaps to the front of the dash and unzips were you sit so you can run heat and drop the top in the winter time. All this covers are in great condition. This is a great car that still has many miles on left on it. You look on Ebay and most 1990-95 have over 150,000 miles on them. I need a $250 deposit through paypal and the remainder in cash when you pick up car. I will guarantee the car, if you do not want it I will refund money, minus all fees.
