Selling my classic 1967 Datsun 1600 roadster The Good: VERY reliable, starts like a charm every time, engine, water pump, clutch, and charging system are all solid, no problems with any of them. Very little surface rust, with areas such as the trunk (pictured) being in pristine condition. I have the side emblems (pictured) and the door panels (taken off at the time of pictures for cleaning). I've also got the steering wheel cap and the grill (grill pictured in trunk photo w/ spare wheel. The Not as Great: Previous owner went a little mad and cut out and bondo'd the left back end (pictured), though why is beyond my (and anyone else's) comprehension. Due in part to the bondoing, the previous paint was sanded off and a yellow base coat has replaced it, I was quoted $1500 to sandblast the rust and repaint. Other problems are fairly minor: older interior and needs a stereo player. There is one known major rust pocket, on the passenger's side floorboard (pictured), which should be quite easy to take out and replace. I have seen no indication of structural rust and only surface rust on the body. The Reason: I'd planned to work on this car and restore it, but other projects have come up, and now I just want to hand it over to someone who can do the job right and has the time.
