1957 Chevy Hot Rod. This is a very clean hot rod ex. drag car. The car was originally from pennsylvania and is very clean. The body is mostly metal with some small bondo spots on the bottoms of the doors and wheel wells. The nose is all steel that has been bonded together to make it tilt. The paint on the body is a yellow and it stands out no matter where you go. The paint is ok for a driver but not the best job at all. The front and rear windows are lexan as this was a race car. I have the original back glass and all stainless trims for the windows and body. The floors are all new metal and done very nice. The whole underside hase been por 15ed. I would seam seal it and install new carpet. It has two captains buckets out of a laguna and the original back seat. I have all interior trim and door panels. I also have an extra speedo cluster that is good. The motor is a 66 corvette 327 that is 30 over with forged pistons and steel crank. The compression is about 10 to 1. The heads are original 202 fuelies. The cam is a solid comp with 550 580 lift sounds great. The intake is a torker with a 750 holley carb. Full MSD ignition and big tube headers with 3 inch exaust to mufflers with turndowns. The radiator is a brand new alluminum with duel fans. The transmission has a shift kit and a 2500 stall converter. The rear end is mini tubbed with a 9 inch rear end that is drilled for chevy bolt pattern. The rear has 5.13 gears but I do have a set of 3.55 gears that go with the car. The rear has new shocks as well as springs and southside lift bars. The cars hooks up mint. The car runs low 12's high 11's. The wheels are draglites on the front and ralleys on the back with new tires and slicks. The trunk is a fiberglass pin on. The trunk floor is new steel with the wheel tubs and a custom 22 gallon aluminum tank. Holley electric pump and braided steel lines. I have front and rear bumpers but they need to be recromed.
