1953 Chevy 2 door Bel Air Custom Up for auction is another great classic, brought to you by Halberd Industries, Classic Automobile Brokerage. This is the perfect combination of restoration and customization. The restoration was started about 6 years ago and just recently completed. This is a rust free super solid '53 chevy. It is powered by a rebuilt numbers matching inline 6, which is mated to the numbers matching powerglide automatic transmition. The wiring harness was recently replaced in the car to ensure reliability and safety. The car was also upgraded to front disc brakes to ensure stopping power. Less than 2,000 miles put on the car since the restoration started. The interior was redone at a cost of over $3,000. It was done to match the green of the body and has large chevy emblems stitched into the seat backs. The seats are rip and stain free and still have plenty of spring left. The headliner is in great shape and still looks brand new. The car was repainted about 4 years ago, but has been well taken care of and still shines.
