Vehicle Detail
Originally Turquoise Blue Truck . Only 1 Repaint. This is a running Project truck, It is a very good starting point for someone wanting to build this body style truck. It is a 1956, The engine is supposed to be a 327 2brrl , it does run, the oil sending unit tube is broken and it leaks oil, maybe a whole $10.00 to fix. It does not have the correct radiator, looks to be from a mid 70's camaro. The truck does shift but the column shifter mechanism is wore out ( 3 spd on the tree ) I would install a floor shifter. No brake pedal, Rolls and Loads easy. Dual exhaust. This truck was knocked out of gear by a kid and it rolled downhill into a tree which caused the very tip of the front of the frame to bend slightly, Needs straighten, the frame itself is very solid. There is no front bumper or headlight bezels. There is some bondo in the low typical areas for this bodystyle, Low front fenders, cab corners. A small dent in the passenger side headlight area, the Hood has a dent, the driver door has a small sideswipe type dent. The steps on the bed and the fenders are in real good shape. The floorpan will need to be patched on both sides, someone started to patch the passenger side. Windshield and side glass is cracked, I have a replacement rear glass. Rear bumper is bent as well. Ok that's all that's bad, truck needs to be restored or it would make an easy rat rod project. Overall for a 54 year old truck this thing is in pretty dang good shape. There is no title,it is not required in Georgia on pre 1985 vehicles and it comes with a bill of sale only, so check with your local mvr prior to bidding. All sales are final as is where is, buyer is responsible for transport. Full payment due within 5 days of auction end, Truck should be picked up promptly thereafter. Also needs battery and one rear tire will pump up but it leaks back down. If you are in the area you are welcome to come look it over prior to bidding. There will be a very low reserve on the truck. Thanks and have fun bidding. I will try to get better pictures up tomorrow, if you want to see anything specific, just ask, bottoms of the doors do have some rust as well.
