This auction is a for a 1970 Lincoln Mark III. This car has been owned by my father since April of 1972. It has spent the last 20 years stored in his heated garage. In July of this year we installed a new battery,carburator kit and electric fuel pump. The car started up and has run well every time I've used it since. It passed NYS safety inspection. It has the original 460ci 32 valve V8 engine. The transmission shifts smoothly and the brakes work well. The a/c has been recharged and is blowing cold air. The speedometer and odometer seem to work properly as does the temp gauge, oil pressure gauge and volt meter. The horn, wipers, widow washer and lights work. Most of the interior lights work with the exception of the light by the passengers feet (this may just need a bulb). The front power windows work albeit very slowly at times and the drivers window occasionally needs help when going up. I do not believe the rear driver side window is working. The front tires look to have very few miles on them. The rear tires are old but have adequate tread and don't show any cracking. The body of this car is in overall good condition. There is some spots where my father started body work but did not finish it. He appears to have added some fiberglass to the driverside rear wheel well. The vinyl top is in excellent shape with no rips or tears visible. The interior of the car is in very good shape. Some of the bad things I've noticed about this car. The gas gauge is not working. There is an exhaust noise from what I believe to be the driver's side manifold. Occasionally the passenger side brake light does not work. This has been very intermitten. In the trunk is a jack, spare tire, extra wheelcover and two brake rotors. I will also include a lincoln service manual. I try to make it a point to drive this car one to two times a week so the milage will change slightly from what is listed. The vehicle is registered and insured and available for test drives.
