Vehicle Detail

This Samurai has been reconditioned to pristine condition. It has new kick panels, new door panels, new battery, new carpet, new windshield/seal, new rims, new tires, new brake pads, and the interior seats look to be in great condition, with the exception of the driver seat which is showing some wear. The carpet, kick panels, and door panels are black while the dash is brown with black accents in the middle. The floor pans and rear area were noted to be in great shape prior to carpet installation. The vehicle was initially purchased new at Bill Gatton, a local delivership. I was told that I am the third owner of the Samurai from the gentleman from who i purchased however i have not run a carfax to confirm this. I bought the Samurai back in 2006 in May, and it has been garaged since. The tires are 205/75r15's that cost about $435 and the rims were reconditioned Samurai rims that cost $200. The clutch feels solid and fourwheel drive works flawless everytime that I have used. The Samurai seems to be pretty well rust free. It hasn't been run in the salt since I have owned it. The guy that I got it from undercoated the Samurai pretty good and the bumpers look new. I replaced the lenses in the front bumper and the lenses in the rear bumber on the passenger side. The lights are very clear and the head lights work great and are not discolored. The am/fm stereo works great and has a tape player. The a/c blows cold and the heat warms the samurai up very quickly. The hardtop is a two piece hardtop with the front being able to be removed separately. The rear seat folds forward for added space in the rear and the rear hardtop has a solid glass rear hatch that folds up to help load items. This samurai runs great. It doesn't burn oil or smoke. It will leak a small drop of oil if I don't get it out and drive it for awhile but stops after I drive it for a couple of days. I think it would be hard to find a 1988 Samurai in better shape. Right now there is a seat cover on the front driver seat, but it someone would have it upholstered the interior would look brand new. It has been very fun but I am starting a family and need a practical suv to carry a newborn in safely. The samurai looks great and runs great too; it would make someone a great driver as it is also very dependable. My wife and I have taken many trips on the Blue Ridge Parkway with it.
