Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1966 Plymouth Barracuda. Major restoration (interior and exterior) was completed in June 2010. The car was restored to be a weekend cruiser, not a trailor queen. This restoration was done by a professional auto-body teacher who teaches at a large vocational school, so it was done right with alot of attention to detail. (21/2 years put into the restoration, with only U.S. steel used for repairs). The car has been undercoated. I have receipts and pictures of the car in different stages of the restoration. The car has 81,000 miles on it and I believe this to be actual. The car runs and drives great. I have put over 400 miles on the car since June and would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. Car was state inspected for personalized plates in September 2010. The car was sold in 1966 by Crescent Oil CO. dba Plymouth Dealer, Independence Kansas (the original window sticker comes with the car). I will list the new parts and work that went into the restoration. Motor: original 273 2bl V8. New plugs/wires, alternator, voltage regulator, valve cover gaskets, radiator flushed and cleaned, washer fluid container, belts and hoses, New Holly carberator 2bl. Air conditioner is factory and works, but blows warm air-needs freon. Brakes/Suspension: Brakes redone, disc in front, drum in rear, new master cylinder, brake lines, new tires, alignment, plus new tie rods and ball joints. Car drives straight down the road. Interior: New carpet front, rear and trunk, new headliner, sun visors, upolstery front and rear seats, door pads, wood steering wheel Fuel: New fuel tank, sending unit, fuel lines, fuel pump Electrical: all lights, gauges work, turn signals, interior lights, dash controls etc. Radio works, but not connected (I removed the antenna for a cleaner look). Cigarette lighter is disconnected but it works (I'm a non smoker). Exhaust: New pipes and new single exhaust system, with glass pack muffler (needed some sound) I have a 100% positive rating and it is important to me to keep it, so if you have any questions or helpful comments please feel free to email me or call 660-359-5425 or 359-3948 ext 1326. Buyer is responsible for transportation but I will help in any way I can. Thanks for looking Scott On Oct-05-10 at 05:39:29 PDT, seller added the following information: This car is being relisted because the previous ebay buyer did not come up with the money.
