Here is another one of my many projects that I am selling due to health issues. This ad originally said it was a Roadmaster. It is not. It is a Super. Sorry for the mix-up. A beautiful old 48 Buick Eight Sedanette 2 door. Straight eight that runs like a swiss watch but smokes a little from years of sitting. We put in a new clutch and checked the transmission inside while we had it out. Everything checks out good even the torque ball. The car runs and drives but has no brakes. Needs total restoration to be perfect or a little work to be a daily driver. We have an original shop manual that goes with it along with some other books and papers. The seller is the third owner. The second owner bought it in 1954. We have the original paper where he bought it from the original owner. This car has been in storage for many years. The trim is pretty good and most of it is there. The body is very solid with no rust that I can find. It has been painted because it was going to be a daily driver but now he is unable to finish it. With a little more body work it would be beautiful. Gets a lot of looks and comments. There are some other trim parts and mechanical parts that go with it. The engine starts easily, the tranny shifts easy, most of the lights work, and the radio works like a new one but doesn't play the music of the 40's and 50's unless you find the right station. The fuel pump needs replaced or rebuilt as it does not pump fuel. We have been using a can and hose to drive it around. There is a 6 volt electric fuel pump included but is not installed. This car is unmolested and complete. It has a clear Montana title. It has been in Montana all it's life. It was bought local and driven local. NADA prices this car at $19,700 in average condition. It can be yours for much less. There is also a 1948 Buick 4 door that I have for parts. It is complete and totally original and has a good Idaho title. This 4 door could be restored also. We have not tried to start it. It has very nice chrome that could be used on the Sedanet or leave it alone and buy new chrome for the 2 door.
