I have only put on about 3,000 mi. since total restoration. The 289 engine was built at a machine shop and stroked to a 333. The engine has after market heads, intake, 800 edelbrock, and etc. Transmission was built at a transmission shop. Overdrive and some stronger internal parts were added. The car has a thicker sway bar in front and an added sway bar in the rear with traction bars. The mustang also has a frame bar from front to back to stabilize the frame. For 1965 the car handles extremely well. This beauty has been garage kept its whole existence. Before I restored the car, no rust could be found. The Eleanor kit and paint was done by a professional show car builder. The car is very reliable and is geared for the highway. It has many upgrades that are not mentioned. This car has over 45,000 invested but due to hard times it can be yours for much less.
