This rare beauty is a 1952 Starlite Commander with original V8 engine and an automatic transmission is located in Freeborn, Ohio. Title Number is 9013623103. The last time it was licensed was in the state of Washington in i1990. This classic project car is worth the money and the time to resotre. I had it running in 1993 but didn't drive it because I had the drive line disconnected when I transported it. It is still disconnected. Thne title is clear and transaction will go smoothly. There are a few Starlites around, but a lot less Commanders. I don't know if the original Studebaker push button radio works. VEHICLE CONDITION: The man I bought it from had it primed with very high quality primer in 1993. Even though it has been stored inside, it is starting to show some age. He was going to make a street rod out of it; therefore, I never did get all stainless steel trim. For a Seattle, Washington car, the rust is nominal. The left door window is out. The ignition swith is missing as well as the trunk lock. Door panels are missing and one headlight also. Right above the rocker panel is some sign of rust on the left side. No headliner in the car; windshield cracked across, but the four rear glass's are o.k. You will note on the picture that the fenders where the finder guards go is rusted out.
