Vehicle Detail

I am selling this car as trustee of my parents' estate. The title is clear and is in my name. It has been lightly used and maintained with vigilance and love. It is a one owner vehicle and is a fully equipped. 100% original, unmodified, unmolested CE, with window sticker, full set of keys, collector's edition ingots, manuals etc ... Options are heated seats, Tri-coat Pearlescent White paint, programable garage door opener, chrome directionals, and Collector's Edition Package. The car does not have a sun/moon roof. My dad was a WWII vet - Naval Aviator - Turret gunner and he loved cars, especially this one. The one unresolved issue with the car is the heater blender problem that seems to be endemic for Mark VIII's. My dad could not find a mechanic he trusted enough to do the repair properly. His plan was to see to the repair himself. The illness that led to his eventual death doomed the plan. Given rather mixed experience with Lincoln dealerships, I've decided to let the buyer see to this repair. I figure that this car will go to an enthusiast with a trusted mechanic or the inclination to see to the repair himself. Given the mild climate here in NM and the heated seats, it's not been much of an inconvenience. The car runs great. As to cosmetics, it looks like new. I have been able to find one small gravel ding and there is some bubbling of the chrome in wheel centers. No wrecks or fender-benders. Some of the photos show the directional wheels as incorrectly mounted. This is due to improper attention during tire rotation. I took it back to the shop and they corrected the mistake. The tires are matching Goodyear 225/60r16 tires that have about 30,000 miles left in them and show no "curb rash." The car has been garaged when not in use since my dad bought it. I drive it twenty miles or so at least once a month and keep fresh gas in the tank. The photos include a scan of a "pre-purchase" inspection I had done on the car. I have what I believe to be complete maintainance/repair records on the car to pass along to the buyer. The car is a gem. A CE with this sort of mileage is an increasingly rare commodity. You can see more photos of the car in a very cool slide show format if you use this link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/doctor_tea/sets/72157623702603839/show/
