Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1954 Ford Customline 2 Door. This was one of my projects I picked up but don't have the time to finish and need the money so my loss is your gain. Here is some of what I think you want to know but I will gladly answer any and all related questions as I recieve them: The vehicle runs and drives good, new brakes all the way around. Tires are all good with plenty of tread. V8 Y Block (I belive the 239 but will run the numbers to verify and update this posting) Great oil pressure and good compression in each cylinder. Standard transmission with overdrive option (overdrive not currently hooked up). Body is in fair to good condition with some normal rust on the under side, normal dents dings and a few scratches. Windshield is broken and needs to be replaced and pass rear window is cracked from a BB shot. No carpet. Seats are in really nice condition (maybe redone sometime). Headliner needs replaced. Gauges are not all hooked up. Vehicle has clear Colorado title. This car is not perfect but if you want a car that runs good, looks good, and can be driven this is it. There is a few things you can "tinker" with to improve the car. If you have somebody locally that you would like to have come look at the vehicle please let me know and I can arrange to meet with them. Okay I have had a lot of requests for some more pictures and details so here they are. This is not original paint, The wiring is original and needs some easy repairs in some areas just because it is old and the cloth covers are deteriorated in some areas. The side trim is modified (shortened) because the front and rear spears originally go the full length of the car (nice little custom touch though). Trim has some dings and minor scratches and a little tarnish in area around the rear window but should buff out with a little rouge, front and rear bumpers are pitted and scratched and have dents and dings. Shocks seam a little soft so they might need to be replaced. The underside has only surface rust as seen in the pictures except for the drivers side quarter inner panel (see pics). The cause looks like the drivers quarter was damaged at one time so water got in and sat. Quarter is repaired with metal and there is no "bondo packing" because I can see the inside through the trunk. Drivers floor pan has one small hale about 1/4" but should not need to be completely replaced. Because of the dents and dings in the body I don't believe there is really much bondo in this car. Hope this helps all those who have sent me questions but if I missed something you wish to know about please let me know.
