Hello, this is my 89 Mustang LX , I bought this car a little over a year ago as a bone stock car with some front end damage. Since then this car has been completely overhauled inside and out. First Things first, I took that old worn out injected 5.0 and scrapped it. I replaced it with a 46,000 original mile 5.0 out of a 95 Cobra and carburated it! Here is a list of some of the goodies. ENGINE: ~95 Mustang Cobra engine ~GT40 heads ~Crane roller rockers ~High velocity oil pump (NEW) and shaft ~High compression Felpro headgaskets(NEW) ~High flow water pump(NEW) ~Parker intake manifold(NEW) ~Holley 600cfm carb(NEW) ~High flow air filter top and bottom ~Taylor 110mm wires(NEW) ~MSD car+rotor(NEW) ~MSD coil(NEW) ~New gaskets~pan,valve cover,water pump,timing cover,head ~Holley fuel pressure bypass regulator(so I could use electric fuel pump and injection lines with carburator) TRANS: ~T5 5-speed with 46,000 miles(good shape) ~Steeda Tri-Ax short throw shifter ~Spec clutch ~New oil COOLING: ~New radiator ~New goodyear hoses ~New 160 Mr Gasket thermostat ~Water weter ~Torq Flow cooling fan DRIVTRAIN: ~4:10 rear end gears ~5 lug conversion ~Trick flow rear end girddle ~New brakes front+rear rotors,pads and calipers EXHAUST: ~BBK ceramic 1 3/4 long tube headers ~BBK X pipe ~Flowmaster 40 series ~All new 2 1/2 inch aluminized tubing ($1500) system INTERIOR: ~Sparco light weight racing seats ~Autometer 2 5/8 liquid filled oil pressure and engine temp gauges ~Racing fan switch ~Ready for cage(I have all the original interior and will include with car at time of purchase, and is in good shape) BODY: ~This is a rust free vehicle ~Replaced front bumper and left fender ~Cervini's 5 1/2 inch lift off hood(stock hood hinges were damaged, so this was a lightweight fix that gave me the clearance needed for the new engine but needs alignment bad!) ~Paint is so so, the front half of the car was paint matched but looks sharp from 20 ft away ~No cracked or busted windows ~It would look better with a new window cowl(I never got around to replacing it) ~Under the hood on the apron there is some wrincles and small disfigurements from the accident, but nothing major GENERAL: Im sure there are some goodies I am forgeting, but overall this car is a solid foundation for a full race/daily driver. I have thousands invested and would rather not part with, but I'm moving half way across the country and have no way to keep it. The car still has it's little bugs but runs and drives smooth and strong! The lock cylinder spring is loose, so i have a spring I hook to the key so the car wont randomly shut off while driving(needs to be converted to start button). The car has power windows but the driver door regulator broke, so I converted it to manual window crank on the driver door, but still has controls and works the passanger side window and locks. The car has street legal Hoosier drag slicks, 5 spoke aluminum wheels, and smooth power steering. I still have all the harnesses and interior. If you like fuel injection, it would be super easy to throw it back on, computer and fuel system are still being used! Also has interstate battery with quick dissconect.
