Up for sale is a strong-running Mercedes-Benz 190D with irreparable rust on the underbody. Starts right up all winter long, no mechanical problems aside from the catastrophic underbody rust. Comes with brand new rocker panels. Car looks pretty good until you get underneath it. Wish I could part it out, but I live in New York and my parents want it off their lawn in New Hampshire. Tons of desirable parts -- all good glass, working sunroof, no dents. Only rust is on underbody, rocker panels (brand-new set included) and rear quarter panels by the wheel wells. Good brakes, wheels and tires. No mechanical problems. Great engine to swap into an off-road vehicle, or even just another 190 in inspectable condition. Despite the mileage, the car still runs strong and shifts perfectly. With proper maintenance, these engines regularly reach half a million miles. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.
