1967 Buick Gran Sport GS 400 Convertible Here is a very sharp 1967 Buick GS Convertible with its original Buick 400 numbers matching V8 motor and automatic transmission. You can get in and drive this car anywhere today! I was told that the motor and transmission were rebuilt in 1998 and the car was only driven a few hundred miles each summer. This does seem to be the case as the car runs out very strong and does not leak any fluids. Additionally, all front end parts were also replaced at that time. Everything works on this car including blinkers, horn, headlights, heater, dash and courtesy lights. The original radio does not work and the A/C compressor is gone. Rare Tilt Steering option. The car was also painted around this time. The paint still presents well but is driver quality. There is evidence of prior body work done at that time and it is poping through in a few spots (see pictures). The floors were replaced at some point and are in great shape. The frame is solid as a rock and has had some professional reenforcement at some point (very well done). The trunk area is solid and has had some professional patch work. Original bumpers are in driver condition. Dual exhaust sounds great. All trime is present and is in driver condition. All glass is good. I just had a new top put on the car including a new header bow, new pads, cables, all new convertible seals, new latch knuckles, new rear window, new backer board and new well liner. The interior looks great as I also had new carpet and sunvisors installed. The original dash and door panels are in very good shape. I also had both front bucket seats reappolstered including new padding paint and trim. The only year for the Buick "Star Wars" air cleaner. Newer Firestone Radials with plenty of tread and original Buick Factory Mag wheels. Here is a chance to own one of these classics at an affordable price!
