NO RESERVE..you win the bid, you get the truck.. This is a 1979 Chevy C70 Truck with a American LaFrance Fire engine body. it has a 454 engine with a 5 speed manual transmission(Single Speed axle). The truck is in excellent condition and has very low miles. This vehicle was purchased for our fire department in 1979 and has been stored inside for the majority of its life. Removing the fire engine body would open this vehicle to endless possibilites as a work truck. This vehicle is not a working fire truck the top end of the Hale Fire pump is not repairable and does not pass a pump test. This is NOT being sold as a working fire truck. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
