1983 Honda Shadow 750. This is a great bike, of which I unfortunately need to sell. Due to recent health problems, I am unable to make the most of it. I've had this for over ten years and have kept it in excellent condition. I was not planning on ever selling this bike, but circumstances have changed. It has never been "left out", and always stored in a garage. It has also never been "road hard". It has been regularly serviced and meticulously maintained. It uses no oil and does'nt smoke at all.This bike is the 1st year Shadow and is getting rare.I don't think you will find one much nicer than this.It runs strong and has a 6 speed trans.Gets 50 to 60 miles per gal.It is shaft driven and liquid cooled V twin engine. I put on a new Jardeen exhaust system a couple years ago and it sounds good. The back tire is getting old about 50% left on it , the front is still good. The only things I know it needs are the fork seals started leaking a little last year,I was going to replace them this year but I did'nt get to it. Also the electic fan has a toggel switch to turn the fans on if it gets hot. It was like that when I bought it and you hardly have to turn it on. If you sit and idle the temp guage gets about half way and you just hit the switch and cool it down. I think it needs a fan thermo switch, but never investigated it. Parts are plentiful on e-bay if you need anything. Both these are minor issues and cheap to fix. Like I said this bike is in great shape for 27 years old.You won't be dissapointed. I live in Illinois half way between Peoria and Moline about 3 hours from Chicago.I can keep this in my garage as long as you want , But I need paid w/i 5 days. NO WARRANTY , AS IS .
