Up for sale is this 1969 Mercury Marguis Convertable,429-V8.Burnt Orange Metallic with White interior and a white top.Car came with Auto,tilt steering,Power windows,and a 429 V-8.The car was owned by a friend and due a death in the family, sold it to me.He had the following work done :Timming chain and cover,new muffler and exhaust,tune up, he had put a 650 Holley on it,I have the original carb.that will be sold with the car along with a new set of rear shocks..He put new tires on it,rear brake shoes and a number of other items.The car was in storage for the past few years. Had the tranny serviced and oil changed.Car runs and drives fine.AC will need to serviced .It will need all the rubbers for the doors,trunk,and hood.Motor runs fine,smokes a little,may need valve guides and tranny input shaft seal.Top and windows work fine,top in good shape the back window will need to be replaced.The stainless is original to the car and some may need to be replaced.Bumpers are fine,door handles and mirrors have pitting.Car shows very well and with a little TLC would make a very nice car.Odo shows 97,000 and will be sold with exempt miles.I have the original invoice and owners manual where it was purchased from, car came from Lakewood, Ohio. A Ford ,5 volume service shop manual comes with the car.
