Here is the the ultimate project you wanted this winter, You are bidding on a 1953 Chevrolet 3600 3/4 ton flat bed truck, This was a street legal truck that was driven regularly and state inspected until 1980. It has been setting under a roof ever since with an occasional start and drive for the first few years after it was parked. It has not been driven in several years but was last started last summer. I did tinker with it a very little bit this year and it turns over and believe it needs a tune up (points, condencer ect..) and could start again pretty easily. I simply don't have the time and just want to see it go to a good home. It was been converted to a 12 volt system a lot of years back and all the glass looks good except for the back glass that fell victom to a lumber loading incodent when it was still in use. All the panels look great other than flatbead needs re done, the bed frame is all there and in good shape but the wood is gone. The title is clear and in hand so no worries on that end of the deal. I tried to take as many pictures as permisable but it is under a shelter and was hard to get all areas so if there is any area you would like to see better please ask and I can send you more pictures. I would only ask that if you request additional pictures or to see the truck to give me plenty of notice and do not wait till the day before auction ends. I work out of town and travel so I will need time to make arrangments. I can't stress enough questions and looking are OK, This is a good truck and I have nothing to hide so if you are curious just ask. Also I DO NOT ACCEPT side offers and this will be sold to the highest bidder, Please serious bidders only. Do not be the highest bid only for a chance to see this truck. I am asking for a small NON REFUNDABLE deposit to eleminate less serious bidders and of course the deposit will be deducted from the ballance when you come pay and pick up the truck. Well My brother went down and cleaned up the pionts real good and this thing fired right up, so good news for who ever wins, now it can be driven onto a trailor.
