I purchased this car 11 years ago in California. It is a well preserved, hard to find, 5 speed S4 with a few GT option codes (gear ratios; limited slip). The car is very original with the exception of the following upgrades: * Adjustable coil-overs (928 International, Koni/Eibach) * Rear Muffler By-pass (928 International) * Porsche Cup style 17" wheels (928 International) * Tires: Fr. 235/45/17 Rr. 275/40/17 (Yokohama AVS - no noticable wear) * Cross-drilled front rotors The engine is extremely strong in this 928 and the exhaust sounds incredible. The clutch was replaced with a GTS clutch and feels very firm. This car has not been tracked or abused - instead driven mostly highway miles for fun. The interior is all original and in exceptional condition. The leather looks as it did when new, and the usually problematic driver's side bolster shows very minimal wear which can easily be solved with conditioner. The only change to the interior is an aftermarket stereo with cross-overs, amplifier, and removable subwoofer. Flaws on this car consist of a dime sized rust spot under the paint near the rear quarter window. It hasn't grown in 11 years. There is a bit of rock pitting on the lower front facia & mirrors and a touched-up scratch near the fuel door. The air conditioning needs to be recharged. The driver's window switch needs to be replaced (It always goes down but usually doesn't go back up. The good news is that it goes up automatically when the aftermarket alarm is set by pressing the button on the key fob.). This has been my second 928 and I've known many many others. This one runs very strong. The upgraded suspension will move your eyeballs to the side of your head around corners while retaining the appropriate ride a 928 should have. The stance is impressive, as it sits a bit lower than other 928s & over wider tires. The interior is among the best.
