Hello, I'm selling my 1989 GMC Sierra SLE 1500 extended cab pick-up truck. It has a 5.7(350) motor in it, it has 137,500 miles on it( all highway) And yes these are real miles on this truck, I had it checked by a pro., and I have records of who owned the truck before me, the DMV screwed up on the title. It's 2 wheel drive, 6' bed, red/silver(red interior), new steering column, new ignition, tinted windows, sun visor above windshield( outside of truck), new tires, new starter, new battery, new exhaust gaskets, new brake light pads, new brakes and lines, class III hitch(Reese), aluminum megs, rubber mat in the bed, updated tune-up, newer radiator, new serpentine belt, CD player( Pioneer), Automatic trans, rebuilt 700R4 trans(built to haul)(cost $1500), dual sliding back window, dual CB antenna mounts, dual cherry bombs, beefed up suspension( I put 1 ton in the back and it blew the tires before it sagged),PL,PW,PS, A/C, PB, tilt steering,CC,newer master cylinder, new brake booster,ABS( controls the back wheels only)stock for this truck, new ABS computer, all the wires inside the truck are newer as well. I have installed a new water pump, a harmonic balancer, alternator,a distributor and cap, new headlights, and a new electronic chip for the spark plugs. It runs and drives awesome, no knocks or ticks. I can trust this truck to go anywhere, I've own it for 5 years and not one time did I have a problem. It goes off road better than most 4x4's, I have taken this on long trips(it does great), it's great in the snow, if you want to pull a trailer( you don't even know it's back there), if you want to pull down a barn it will do that too. I gave you the pros, now for the cons. It has common cancer around the back wheel wells, on the cab corners and the rockers( about $600 done by pro), the windshield has a 12" crack in it, on the upper driver side corner( about $150 installed by a pro.), it needs a new headliner( about $10 at junk yard), I can do the body work for about another $500( if you want it done), it could use a little help with the exhaust, but not necessary. I love this truck, I really hate to see it go, but it is to hard to get kids in the back seat. I have well over $2000 in it, the motor and much more will last for a long time to come.
