This is my 1985 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce Quadrifoglio with 84,354 original miles. This is a beautiful Italian sports car and it is a dream to drive! It gets attention wherever you go- you'll get many thumb-ups and smiles from bystanders! This car has the 5-speed manual transmission, power windows, A/C, and I believe every option available from the factory. This car has recently been serviced and gone over, and it gets a fully clean bill of health. Recently the clutch was replaced and the transmission was serviced, plus the oil and filter were changed. This car is ready to drive anywhere- it is reliable and drives great. This Alfa Romeo looks excellent. It is in great shape for a 25-year old car. The body is clean and straight, and the paint is in good condition. There are a few normal nicks, marks, etc, but it looks great overall. Please see the detail photos to see how clean the body is, especially the lower portion and rocker panels which have NO RUST! The convertible top is in good condition, it isn't brand new, but its still in good shape. The plastic rear window isn't cracked and the convertible top material is still in nice shape. The interior is beautiful- the seats have been professionally reupholstered and red piping was used, which really stands out and looks classy. The carpets and interior panels are in good condition- this interior looks very nice. The car drives like a dream. The handling is tight and stable, and the acceleration is great. I believe this model year was the most powerful of the entire Spider line- 130HP- and it feels like it! The engine starts perfectly and does not smoke or hesitate. The motor idles well, and will run right to redline with no problem- it is powerful and sounds great. The brakes are firm and do not pulse or grind. The steering is tight and responsive. The suspension is tight and the handling is excellent, with no looseness or floating. The transmission shifts up and down through all the gears perfectly, and the clutch is tight (since it is brand new!). The lights, turn signals and interior guages all work perfectly. The exhaust is quiet. To my knowledge everything is working great with no known faults or problems. The starter is actuated by flipping the toggle switch on the dash- a "racing" style modification made by the previous owner. There are no known mechanical problems- this car drives perfectly reliably and I'd trust it to go anywhere. This car has never been in any accidents, and it has a perfect Carfax report. This is a beautiful, classy and classic sports car. I have a hardtop that fits this car for sale on a separate eBay listing. $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction end. Sales tax must be collected from Ohio buyers.
