Up for auction is a 1941 Chrysler Royal Limousine. I bought this with the intent to modernize it and rent it out for weddings, everyone has told me to keep it original because of the rarity which I have no interest in doing. I was told this is a factory limousine one of 32 made and 3 of those were exported. It has a roll up privacy window between the drivers and passenger compartment, running boards, fold up jump seats. It is in need of total restoration, there is a lot of surface rust but overall is pretty solid. Still has original owner's manual. Seats need reupholstering,no brakes, ect. Engine is free I bought a new battery and had it crankling over a few times until the starter quit. The starter is out and the motor turns but the solenoid seems too weak to operate properly. The Engine compartment is pretty clean and I was told it ran a 3 years years ago and by th looks of it I believe it. Floors are solid except for the trunk floor. The frame has surface rust but is very solid.One of the doors is separated on the bottom seam. The flat glass has some delamination and one is cracked but the curved rear window is in good shape. have Title in hand. Overall this is a very restorable automobile, original and unmolested, Also has some kind of ancient intercom system with it (see pics). Any questions please email.
