Vehicle Detail

This is a 1930 Ford Model A Coupe. This car has had the same owner for many years. It is a True Survivor. This car is in very good condition, but has never been restored. It has been maintained, repaired and well kept. The Odometer is showing over 97000 miles. I have no idea if this number is correct. The car sure doesn't look like it could have that many miles on it. This car has a clear Ohio Title. It starts easily and runs and drives well. (It does Spit and Sputter a little when cold) The car has a very nice overall appearance. The paint looks good. Most of the paint is original, but there are some spots that have been touched up over the last 80 years. The car is very solid and has almost no rust at all. The Body, Cowl, Fenders, Hood and Running Boards are rock solid. The Running Boards have some Rubber on them that I am told is not original to the car. It looks good on the car. The Engine, Transmission and Drive Train are all supposed to be original. The Engine is pretty clean and looks totally stock. The Interior is clean and looks nice. The Seat looks good, but could probably use some new upholstery. This can be purchased through many aftermarket sources. The Rumble Seat opens easily and looks good. The original two steps for getting into the seat are still on the car. Everything about this car looks good. I could not find any real problems with the car. Two years ago, this car got 5 new Tires, New Brakes and a New Radiator. It is a reliable driver. The car still has Mechanical Brakes. They work good, but are not the same as driving a car with hydraulic Brakes. There is one panel, under the car that has some rust on it. I am told that this panel pops into the floor without a weld and is inexpensive and can be purchased through Snyders. I tried to take a good picture of this panel. I am posting pictures to show the true condition of this car. I will try to answer any questions through email. I may be able to help with transportation within a few hundred miles of Akron, Ohio. I am listing this car for a friend, but he wants me to list it with no reserve and let it sell to the highest bidder. That is what is going to happen.
