Vehicle Detail
This car is being listed again due to a winning bidder who never paid for it. Please don't bid if you do not intend to go through with it or if your significant other tells you you can't have it! I purchased this car from my father in the summer of 1979 and now it's time to pass it on to a new owner who can give it some use. This car has been in storage since the late 1990's with occasional outings here and there. It starts and runs great and everything works as it should although it will need a transmission oil pan gasket. This is still a nice old car and I have no time for it these days so this is the reason for selling it. Originally this was a 6 cyl car but in 1992 a 400cid small block was installed along with a 400 TH transmission and a 10 bolt posi from an older Nova SS. Even with these modifications over the years it was never abused and carefully maintained. The car was repainted once in 1981 and the paint is still presentable. There is a small amount of rust in the rear fender lips behind the chrome trim but given that this car is 34yrs old it's pretty minor and easily repaired in my opinion. The floor pans, front subframe, truck floor and rear frame rails are in very good shape. Good tires. The interior is in near perfect condition with a full set of autometer gages and a B&M shifter. This car runs strong and it still a blast to drive. For those who remember the Car Craft Street Machine Nationals in Duqion, Illinois this car made the trip many times. Shipping is the buyers responsibility.
