Bank Repossession for Sale. The seller holds a Repossessed Title issued by the State of Missouri Department of Revenue. CAVEAT EMPTOR is the motto for this auction. If you are not sure as to the translation of that wonderful old Latin phrase, it is "Let the buyer beware". This Chevrolet Monte Carlo is being sold for a small community bank in eastern Missouri. The car was peaceably surrendered by the borrowers when the were unable to make their payments. We have not had any inspections performed upon the car. We note that the tires are extremely worn. They are good enough to get you 5 blocks to a local tire store, or 50 feet to load the car on a trailer to take it home. If you are using a tow dolly you might want to bring your jack and cross wrench so that you can swap the tires from front to back before heading home. The front tires have more tread (see photos) We have not had any mechanical inspections performed upon the car. We did have the car detailed. Our detailer drove the car approximately 11 miles and reported that it rode nice, and drove strait. You are welcome to come and inspect the car during the auction. If you wish to have an inspection performed by a local mechanic of your choosing, at your expense, we will work with you to schedule that service. The car has been driven on gravel roads. There is a crack in the windshield which doesn't show up in the photographs, but will probably require replacement prior to passing a Missouri State Vehicle Inspection. The tires appears to be in average condition and tread-life. The leather seats and interior door panels are clean and look very nice for a car of this mileage. The car has the upgraded stereo which is XM compatible. It also has the integrated tire pressure monitoring and side curtain airbags. On balance the interior is very clean for a car of this age. The line in the sun roof is a reflection of the overhead power line, it is not a crack. There is a parking lot trophy (a ding and scratch) on the right front fender and on the passenger door as shown in the picture. This car needs tires but aside from that it appears to be ready to go. It looks sharp, sounds good, and would be a fine ride. This Monte Carlo is being sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no warranties expressed or implied.
