Vehicle Detail
This car has been my baby... and I am just thinking of moving on. The car works great and serves it's purpose so I am in no NEED to sell the vehicle, I just figured I would post it up for a fair price and see. The 240 is likely the cleanest one in the area I have ever seen. For almost all of its life it was a FL car, and within the last 3 years I have owned it and it has never seen a flake of snow. Unlike almost all 240s you see around here the body is nothing short of fantastic and the undercarriage is great with no rust. A little over a year ago the car was brought down to metal and reprimed/sprayed with PPG paint by a local reputable shop (read: $$$) as well so overall the body is great. The chassis has ~137,000 miles however I still drive it frequently so it may change. Skyline King in FL is responsible for much of the mechanical aspects of the swap and I did most of the chassis work as well as cleaning up some of the loose ends on the swap. Almost anyone in the FL area can attest to Skyline King's quality and attention to detail. The car makes 501whp on 17psi, and made 594whp at 24psi, has a best ET of 10.75 and bet mph of 136mph in the quarter. Beyond that it easily pulls over 1g of lateral acceleration and can road race with the best of them (although it takes a better driver than I to do it :) ). Here is a quick list of the mods. There may be somethings that have been forgotten, but all in all between SK and myself I'm sure there is over 50k invested. I am asking only a fraction of that to own a car with super-car performance that gets attention everywhere it goes, and still is reasonably comfortable and reliable to boot! The issues I know of are, a few minor chips that have touch up in them, the driver side window regulator is starting to go out, and there is a very small leak at the oil pan gasket I believe. It sometimes will leave a drop or 2 of oil under it. The interior isn't as clean as the exterior the back seats came out when the cage went in and finished it with RAMMAt and black closed cell foam, but it could probably use some nice carpet back there. Also there are some scratches on the center console and the cage. With that said, realize this car is not exactly for the faint of heart. Between the solid(ish) mounts and shifter, the twin disk clutch, the big turbo, stiff suspension, etc. it can be a handful to drive so don't expect it to drive like your dad's Cadillac. Not sure why ebay won't enlarge the pictures even though I selected that option, so here they all are hosted by me:
