Good luck to all.***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A GORGEOUS LOOKING LEMANS BLUE 1970 CHEVY EL CAMINO SS 396 THAT IS A NICE TURN-KEY DRIVER AND GREAT TO HAUL AROUND KIDS, PARTS OR ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT!!!. VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Factory options: Power Steering Power DISC front brakes 12 bolt rear end Cowl induction Standard black bench seat interior Dual exhaust Automatic transmission on the column Stock 396ci/350hp motor UPGRADED 17" TORQUE THRUST STYLE WHEELS (these do NOT come with the car, but can be purchased separately after the auction) UPGRADED shoulder style seat belts UPGRADED bed tonneau cover This is a recent aesthetic restoration on a pretty solid and straight body. I've known about this car for a while actually and had it on ebay a couple of years ago, after purchasing it from this fellow down in Texas. Since I wanted this car as my personal driver and work truck, I invested some money in it. I put brand new quarter panels on both sides, lower fender patches on both sides and had my shop repaint it with base/clear coat about 2 years ago. Driver quality job that looks good. I then sold it to this fellow locally and he kept upgrading it by adding 17" wheels/tires, coated headers, dual exhaust, door panels, carpet, seat covers, bed tonneau cover, emblems, moldings etc. Right now it's a nice and presentable driver as you can see in the pictures. Under the hood lies a stock 396ci motor with Edelbrock aluminum intake, Interior is in VERY GOOD condition. Bench seat has been reupholstered (seat springs a bit soft). Door panels are newer but have a couple of imperfections. Carpet is new. Dash pad is decent. Headliner needs replacing. Overall a very presentable driver quality interior! Mechanically, the car drives pretty well. I've mostly driven it around town and a few times on the highway and it performs nicely with no surprises. Always starts at the turn of the key, gets decent gas mileage if you drive it normally, and is very easy to drive. Brakes stop very well. Motor has a lot of power and transmission shifts through all the gears seamlessly. Rear end is nice and solid. The car has new coated headers and dual exhaust as well and sounds very nice. I ALSO HAVE A WHOLE BUNCH OF NEW PARTS YET TO BE INSTALLED, such as: door weatherstripping, new outer door handles, rear window lower molding, correct in dash tachometer, and other small items. These are all INCLUDED in the auction. Being 40+ year old car, it is NOT perfect my any means. Paint shines up NICELY for a driver, with general small imperfections from driving as you would expect (this is NOT a show car paintjob). Underside has SOLID FLOORBOARDS and SOLID BED as well as NICE FRAME RAILS from what I could see. Not working: horn, radio, tachometer. perhaps a bulb or two may need replacing. Missing: spare/jack, radio, headliner, rear curtain behind seats. Minor rust by rear section behind bench seat in a few small places, otherwise the car is pretty clean when it comes to rust. IT'S A VERY NICE CAR WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DRIVE IT AS IS OR DO VERY MINOR TLC TO BRING IT UP TO THE NEXT LEVEL!
