Up for auction is a beautiful yellow 2001 Chevrolet Corvette convertible with a tan top and interior. I wanted a Z-06 convertible but chevrolet wouldn't make me one, so I made my own. It has all of the appearance of a Z-06 and then I added two red grand sport stripes on the left fender. This car runs and drives beautifly with more power then anyone really needs.The car has a stainless steel Corsa style exhaust system that sounds awesome. There are a few little things that the car needs, but is perfectly drivable like it is. The things it needs are common problems with most C5 corvettes. Active Handling light comes on sometimes, one headlight motor makes a noise for 2 or 3 seconds after you shut off the headlights, oil pressure sending unit doesn't last very long after you replace it, strange noise in the power window motor on the drivers side. The front bumper has a small crack on the bottom edge ( see photo ). The car has been lowered for better handling and a more agressive look. The paint job is good but could use a good polishing. The top is still nice. The edge of the drivers seat is worn, but the rest of the interior is still really nice. I have tried to discribe this car as best as I could.
