These auctions cost money and I don't have time to start chasing you. Good luck to all.***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A GREAT LOOKING BURGUNDY 1968 CHEVY CAMARO RALLY SPORT 327 SPORT COUPE WITH FACTORY AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND DELUXE INTERIOR!!!. VERY SHARP TURN-KEY CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Factory options: Power Steering Manual Brakes Deluxe black bucket seat interior Dual exhaust Front and rear spoilers Factory Automatic transmission Rally Sport package Rally wheels w/white letter radials 10 bolt rear end Z-28 stripes 15" CHROME CRAGAR SS TYPE WHEELS with Radial tires This is an older restoration on a pretty solid and straight 68 Camaro Rally Sport. The previous owner repainted the car sometime during the late 1980s. When I got it, I cleaned up the body with a light wetsand and buff that brought out some of the old luster in the paint, and added the z-28 stripes as well as front and rear spoilers. The rear passenger side quarter panel was replaced with a new skin as well as there was a large dent there. NEW emblems, wheel well moldings, reupholstered driver's front seat and other minor tlc was done and the car is now a very presentable driver.. This is a nearly TURN-KEY driver that you can get in and enjoy now with very minor tlc! Under the hood lies a lightly modified 327ci 4bbl. motor with Edelbroc aluminum intake, Holley 600cfm 4bbl. carburetor, full headers into newer dual Flowmaster type exhaust, HEI ignition and some minor internal upgrades like a 0.030 block overbore. Transmission shifts nice and smooth and rear end has good highway gears. Interior is in GOOD and mostly original condition with general wear here and there. Seats are nice with the front driver's side freshly redone with PUI covers (one small slit on passenger seat side). Door panels has some minor general wear. Carpet is older but presentable. Dash pad is very clean. Headliner in good shape as well. Overall a very presentable driver quality interior! Mechanically, the car drives pretty well. I've mostly driven it around town and a few times on the highway and it performs nicely with no surprises. Always starts at the turn of the key, gets decent gas mileage if you drive it normally, and is very easy to drive with power steering. Brakes stop well although pedal is a little spongy at times. This car never left me stranded, never overheated and is something I would feel comfortable driving long distances if I had to. Fly in and drive it home if you like. Being nearly a 40+ year old car, it is NOT perfect my any means. Paint shines up fairly well for a driver, with general small imperfections from driving as you would expect. Lots of small dings and minor dents, with a good number of them on the roof. Underside has some scaly surface rust but did NOT have any serious rot or large holes anywhere I could see them. Trunk pan had some prior patch work but is fairly solid overall with GOOD shock towers. Not working: horn, radio, heater, perhaps a bulb or two may need replacing, hidden headlights (they open/close manually). I do have NEW rear backup lights and new lenses to be installed (valence panel was replaced years ago and they were never put back in). That's about all I was able to notice. IT'S A VERY NICE CAR WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DRIVE IT AS IS OR DO VERY MINOR TLC TO BRING IT UP TO THE NEXT LEVEL! THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY GREAT CAR IN THIS 1968 CAMARO RALLY SPORT WITH 96K MILES ON THE ODOMETER, FACTORY DELUXE INTERIOR THAT CAN EASILY BE A TURN-KEY DRIVER WITH VERY MINOR TLC!.
