up for sale I have a west german built 1962 vw beetle..I know what your saying... 1962 didn't have snowflake tail-lights but... it has been documented on several occassions in the 60s in west germany beetles were built with several parts from prior years. i assure u that this car was born with snowflake tail lights. I have pictures from the orignal owner who purchased it in 1962. The original owner owned the car until 1965 when the car was sold to his neighbor who drove it until 1989 upon parking it in his garage all the seats were removed where they were storaged in his house from 1989 to 2009 the interior in this car is the among the best interior that i have seen in a 1962 beetle. the seats have no tears, rips and no signs of wear at all. The door panels are in great condition along with the dash that is uncut and fuel gauge delete. When i purchased this car I pulled the chassis and replaced both floor pans and the driver side heater channel with german restoration quality parts .She retains all original fenders, decklid, doors, and 4 tab hood. Both doors function excellent along with the windows that move up and down freely as well as both vent windows. The original wire harness is fully intact and has never been cut nor butchered. The front spare tire well and apron are perfect as well as the roof and drip rails. The engine is the original 36 hp that has been completely rebuilt from top to bottom and has zero miles on it. She will require a fuel pump, cap and rotor, and a set of wires to be complete (if i have time this weekend I might install the parts for the engine to run). Muffler is brand new along with muffler tips. Driver side rear quarter had a patch put on from another 62 parts car .Included in this sale is full set of new brake lines,brand new window seals, door seals, fender beading, deck lid seal, hood seal, front and rear directional seals, headlight seals, emergency brake boot, shift knob, heater control knob, headlight rings, headliner kit, carpet kit, tires already installed, steering knuckle and mounts, pan gasket, and a bunch of other seals and gaskets that i'm sure i am forgetting. Ebay didn't recognize the vin number for this bug the number is as follows 3391584. The milage on this car is 81,117 and are actual.
