This is my 1995 Eagle Talon TSi, I purchased this car last year to restore to its former glory and now that I have it almost where I want it I have decided to sell it. I started a new project about 3 months ago (an Audi A4) and I have decided to keep the Audi and I don’t have the budget to keep two turbo cars so here it is. What I have done since I purchased the car: 1. Facelift - I installed a 99 eclipse front bumper and black housing headlights that are nice and clear because as most would agree this is the best looking frond end for the 2g Eclipse/Talon body style. 2. New paint job - The only reason it was repainted was that the red was starting to fade, there was NO body damage on the car aside from a few small dings and the paint was original and faded equally around the car so I could tell it had not been in a wreck or repainted before (one of the main reasons I bought it) The paint job was done right with the panels, lights and trim pieces removed so there are no tape lines. 3. Complete rebuild of the engine block and turbo - I wanted something I could enjoy for years without leaks so the block and turbo were completely rebuilt and repainted with all new gaskets, seals, bearings and rings. The cylinder head was rebuilt a year before I purchased it so that was not necessary but I did verify it was rebuilt while the engine was apart and there were all new valves and seats so that was done properly. The transmission also received new axle and front main seals to avoid any drips along with a new OEM clutch. To round it off I installed a new radiator for the sake of reliability as these cars are starting to get older and I did not want to have a failure on the road and endanger the new engine. 4. New headliner - as the old one was starting to sag. And that’s about it, the car had no aftermarket modifications to the engine or suspension (another reason I bought it) and it is still stock besides the air filter. It also has a pretty nice sounding CD player with newer front and rear speakers. This is a Texas car so there is no rust anywhere. The engine, head and body are the original parts to the car and have matching VIN #’s so if you live in a picky emissions state like CA this will not be a problem. All the power stuff works properly including the sunroof and as you can imagine the engine runs like a top. The only weak points on the car that I haven’t addressed are that the A/C compressor clutch is bad and it will need new tires fairly soon. I showed the main paint blemishes in the last 3 pictures, unfortunately I had it painted while the engine was out so it had to be pushed back into my garage and when we did that it left the stress marks that you can see on the rear bumper which aren’t bad but enough to make you pretty mad when you just paid to have it painted the day before. I will touch up these areas to the best of my ability this weekend and give the interior a through cleaning. Also the 3rd brake light on the spoiler is not there in these pictures but I have installed it since. I have a clean and clear Texas title in hand but the car needs to be stickered because I have yet to insure it and make it my daily driver. I do own a one ton truck and a dolly and I don’t mind delivering the car. On Sep-17-10 at 01:34:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I am getting a lot of questions so just to be clear this is a running driving complete car with no "check engine light" issues and the engine and turbo have been fully rebuilt. The pictures of the engine block out of the car are just showing when the engine was rebuilt before it was re-installed into the car. Also the transmission shifts perfectly, the synchronisers are in great shape and the clutch engages very smoothly with the new OEM clutch.
