This a good truck (only 72,000 miles) which has been owned by a school district grounds department since it was new. It has always been garage kept, and has been regularly maintained but IT HAS A BEARING KNOCK IN THE ENGINE. If you look at the pictures, you can see that there are some dents and dings, the rear bumper is bent, and the seat is torn on the driver's side. There is some minimal rust on the cab at the rear of the driver's door, and on the driver's side rear quarter panel, where it is dented. There are no holes. It has a current PA inspection, which runs out soon, and we have not had it newly inspected, since we are getting rid of it. The engine is a throttle body fuel injected 350. Except for the bearing knock, it runs well. If someone had an engine, or even a short block, and was willing to spend some time, they could have a good truck for a great price. The truck has a trailer hitch and brake controller. There is an aluminum diamond plate tool box in the bed. Also included is an 8' Western Pro Plow, with a new pump motor. It works well. The tires are only fair. Shown in the interior pictures is a speed control for a salt spreader - that does not go with the truck. This truck was in regular use until the engine knock developed - we have not used it very much since this happened. Due to its age, the school district has chosen not to invest in a new engine for the vehicle, and that is why it is being sold. There are no warranties of any kind, and we cannot arrange for any shipping. This is a low mileage truck, but it has been well used. If you are in the York, PA area, it would be great if you stopped in to see the vehicle. At the close of the auction, a deposit in the amount of one-half of the winning bid or $250, whichever is less, must be paid with PayPal within 24 hours of the auction close. The balance of the purchase price is due in cash or money order at pick up. Final payment and pick up must be within one week of the auction close.
