Vehicle Detail
Up for sale with No reserve is a great truck that has been really good to me for the time that I have had it. My Great Uncle bought this truck brand new in 1995 from Warnock Automotive Group here in NJ. He babied it and always kept it in his garage up until he gave it to me last year. I didn't drive it much last year. In May I got a temporary job in South Jersey and since then i have been driving 100 miles to work each way. It hasn't let me down. Did pretty good on gas going 75mph down the parkway everyday. My job has ended and I really don't have any need for a vehicle. Parking is hard to come by here and i really think if i hold on to the truck any longer it will keep getting more door dings and shopping cart attacks. Since I have had it I kept up with the oil changes, put in a new alternator, and new brakes all around. It is far from a perfect truck, although mechanically sound, it has its share of dings and bruises but all in all, still looks very sharp and i'm sure in the right hands could be a perfect truck. I will try to describe all of the cosmetic imperfections so that there are no surprises when the new owners come to pick up their new Tank! *There are a few tiny door dings on the driver side, mostly by the driver door and passenger door. There is a bigger shopping cart dent on the passenger side door (about the size on a silver dollar). Also on the passenger side above the rear wheel well is another dent. I got an estimate of $520 to repair all of the dents on the Truck. *The Carpets are really dirty, I never made an effort to clean them or have them shampooed, but depending on the final sale price i might just have the entire interior of the car detailed for the new owners.*My girlfriend broke the passenger side interior door handle. Its an easy fix but I am just not mechanically inclined to do so.*When I got the truck I installed a Kenwood CD player and i guess I forgot to hook up the rear speakers. Didnt feel like taking it apart again so i just left it they way it is. This Kenwood is IPOD and MP3 ready.*There is a VCR installed hidden under the back seats. And a custom made TV that can pop up or lay down or be removed completely. It is located by the center console. I put it up just for the pictures but it is disconnected and i never drive with it there. All of the wires are there but it is not connected. When it is removed you could never tell it was there. I'm sure i missed something but ill make revisions if anything pops up. Cosmetically, I really didn't take care of the truck like I should have and that is one of the reasons why I am selling it. It is too nice of a truck to be sitting on the street or a parking lot! My uncle took really good care of it and since i have had it, its just been getting dinged and bruised. I am selling the truck without a reserve. I encourage everyone close by to come see it and test drive it. I have over 100 pics but I just found out ebay only allows 24 pics so i am trying my best to cover everything. If you would like to Fly in and drive this home, Newark Airport (EWR) would be good for me to pick you up. I would also try my best to accomodate with shipping. If you have any questions, I can be reached @ 201 233 4938 Good luck Bidding! On Sep-17-10 at 06:42:49 PDT, seller added the following information: There is a hairline crack on the top left corner of the windshield (passenger side). I t has been like that and the same size for over a year now. I called a few placed around here and it is $200 installed for a NEW Windshield or you can keep driving it like this the way i have for over a year now!
