This is a one of a kind car-1964 Series 62 that was a coupe converted ( chopped) and made into a 4Dr convertible. Very nicely done with complete set of tonneau covers front and rear deck as well as a custom made white top which obviously is not electric but manual snaps down in place in a matter of minutes if you would choose to use it. Original equipment included electric trunk closer still works, factory air -not working, electric seats working and windows working. The radio and clock do not work. All the lights work. The interior is new and the engine has been rebuilt and crank turned. It is a restoration in progress. The car drives smooth but the tranny needs adjusting on the vacuum shift points. The car looks nice but the paint is faded crazed and a new paint job would be in order unless one wishes to preserve the originality of the car and year. Still it looke very nice. Straight with minimal rust but there a few small places on the rear panel driver side. The door jambs look pretty good and this is a garaged Texas car. Big block 429 V8. One can drive her the way she is or put money into new paint and make her a real showcase. Great parade car with 4 drs and head turner. Title is clean. Low reserve. On Sep-15-10 at 16:59:36 PDT, seller added the following information:The top fastens down to brads on the rear deck where the tonneau is shown and then over a support bar between the doors and then fastens down over brads on the top of the windshield - see picture. Crazing on the paint is hood and trunk lid. Chrome is in good shape as is windshield.
