This is a 1968 Volkswagen Beetle my father and I just finished restoring from the ground up. The car has had new floor pans, brakes, carpet, seat covers, headliner, paint, weatherstripping and a rebuilt transmission. The engine was disassembled and checked for wear (engine was rebuilt shortly before we purchased it) and resealed, and a new clutch plate, pressure plate and throw-out bearing installed. Engine is a 1600cc dual port out of a later model. Deck lid has been replaced with later model to facilitate cooling the engine, all tin was removed, sandblasted and repainted to match the car. The sunroof was completely gone through with all new cables and seals. The body is in good condition and showed no signs over ever having been wrecked.
