Vehicle Detail
Hello. This is a relist from a couple of weeks ago. The reserve was met but the winning bidder 864-2010 did not come through with payment or contact us. This auction is for serious bidders only. If you have no feedback or negative feedback do not bid. This beautiful car is a Dodge Dart Sport with a 360 4 barrel V8 engine, a 3 speed automatic transmission and a heavy duty rear axle. It has power steering, disc brakes and factory rally wheels. “Blue” started out as a stripped down, low cost green coupe with a slant six engine and drum brakes. Today it looks and performs better than ever. It has new paint: 2 stage base coat Omni in B-5 Blue with 4 coats of clear, buffed to a high gloss. New side marker lenses. New Demon style side stripes, nice grilled, bumpers and bright trim. Hood, doors and trunk open and close like new. Windows roll up and down like new. New trunk weather-strips and trunk mat. The engine is a 360 from a 1976 Dodge truck. Miles are approximately 58,000. The heads have been rebuilt and milled .030 to raise compression to about 8.8 to one. There’s a new timing chain and gears with an oil slinger. New gaskets throughout entire motor. A new Edelbrock performer intake manifold, Holley 750 vacuum secondary carburetor and an aluminum edelbrock air cleaner have been installed. New 1 5/8” Hedman headers with thrush chambered mufflers and new 2 ¼” exhaust. New distributor cap, wires and spark plugs. New water pump, fuel pump, batter and starter relay. MP mini starter, M/T aluminum valve covers. 26” radiator, newer fan clutch, new radiator cap. Transmission is the heavy duty 727 automatic with new seals, stage 1 shift kit and new MP pan gasket. HD driveshaft with new U-joints and spin balance. Rear axle is the 8 ¼ with 3.55 gears and a rebuilt sure grip differential. It runs tight and quiet. The front suspension has been rebuilt with new idler arm, upper and lower control arm bushings and strut rod bushings. New disc brake calipers, pads and master cylinder. New brake hoses. Torsion bars have been upgraded to V8 spec units. It stops and handles great. The interior has new carpet, headliner, front seat and dash pad. Door & kick panels look great. Gauge cluster and wood grain panels too. The car is tight with no wind noise, rattles or vibrations. It feels better than new. The wheels are factory 14” Rallys with 1971 style center caps and beauty trim rings. Rear tires are 225-70-14; fronts are 205-70-14. All tires have at least 50% tread. The car is fast, fun and easy to drive. It starts easily and idles with a nice rumble. The transmission shift smooth while cruising but will chirp the tires on full throttle. It is so reliable; you could fly in and drive it home. It needs nothing to be roadworthy. The A-Body is the most affordable Mopar to own. Parts are still cheap and easy to find. This one comes with a clear CA title and a bill of sale. There are no penalties or back fees. Thank you for bidding. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO BUY! ***WINNING BIDDER WILL PAY A NON-REFUNADLBE AMOUNT OF $500 WITHIN 48 HRS AND FINAL PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF CLOSE OF AUCTION.
