For sale is my Jeep Commando which I bought off of Ebay and had shipped from Texas this year. It has the Buick 225 V6 motor, Manual tranny, steering and brakes. When I bought it from previous owner the motor was listed as have being rebuilt. It runs good and has new battery. The steering is a little squirley as some of these with manual steering are. I had steering box rebuilt at Lee Man. in Calif and I have replaced tie rod and steering rod. I had another rebuilt clutch master cyclinder installed. It has new front seat belts and a matching spare tire and wheel. The soft top is like new. It is very clean, no visible rust on body or underneath. Tub has been lined. It would make someone a good Jeep to restore or do a little work and drive daily. 4x4 shifts well. I had not driven a std shift in many years and I didnt realize that my bad knee would prevent me from driving this Jeep and thats my reason for selling. I thought about having an automatic trans installed but I can not find anyone to do so at a reasonable price and I cannot do it myself. I have invested about 8000.00 in buying, shipping and buying parts and after watching what other people are asking for some of these rare Jeeps I think my asking price is fair.
