This is a 1949 Chevy Panel delievery Commercial 3100 1/2 ton built in St. Louis MO in Aug of 49. And thats all I really know about it. My brother traded a 50's pick up for it several years ago and has since moved and asked me to sell it. It does have a title and is sitting on my Uncles property so I will show it but only by appointment. Like I said I know absoluty nothing about the truck but am willing to research questions and get additional pictures of specific items for anyone is seriously interested. Considering it's a 49 model from what I saw when I was taking pics the body has dome dents and dings but is in good shape (condition 1) and compared to research on the net and it also has some good glass in it. Buyer assumes ALL responcibility for loading and hauling the truck. I must be on site when the vehicle is picked up and can help coordinate pick up time if you hire a hauler. I have done a lot of research on the net trying to come up with a starting price and from what I can tell this is rare but a wanted panel truck. I have mainly found 49 Chevy panels either missing major parts, body parts or not very restorable for the $400. to $500. dollar range and have seen restored 49's anywhere from running and partially restored for low to mid thousands and fully restored for up to $20,000. As you can see by the pictures it's mostly all there all the way down to the radio. Again feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to get you the information you seek. I am asking for a $200.00 NON refundable depostit. I have had young buyers with big dreams in the past leave a depostit and wait months to pick up vehicles only to change there mind. So the NON refundable deposit is to to only attract serious bidders so if all possible I encourage if possible to come look at this bute before bidding and I am willing to do what I can so open honest communication before the sale is highly recomended.
