I am relisting as the previous winner did not pay. Note: If you have zero (0) feedback, contact me before placing a bid. This Prizm is in fair to good overall shape and has been a very reliable car. I purchased it from a dealer around 30,000 miles, where it had been used as a courtesy vehicle. I am selling as the car needs repairs for which I do not have the time. This would make a good project or parts car. The Good: New catalytic converter installed December 2009. Changed spark plugs (ND Iridium) and filters October 2009 at 114,408 miles. Transmission shifts smoothly. Engine has performed without problems, other than oil consumption (see below). New front brakes (rotors, brake calipers, and brake pads) installed in July at 126,659 miles. Tires in good condition (installed 2008). Interior knobs present and work. Manual windshields work well. AC blows cold, but could use a recharge (last recharge was in 2008). Oil changed at ca. 3000 mile intervals. AM/FM Casette player still sounds good. The Bad: Will not pass PA inspection (was due by end of August). Needs an Evap canister assembly to pass emissions (ca. $700). Engine burns oil - about 1 quart every 100 miles. Likely needs a new engine or an engine rebuild (ca. $3,000-$4,000). This would make a good project for someone with the skill and time. My mechanic said it would be fine "for around town" with the evap canister replaced. Non-highway driving the car needs ca. 1 quart of oil added around every 300 miles. The Ugly: Some scratches on the sides and hub caps (see pictures). Scratch at left front headlight (see picture) and hood. Rust showing on lower right panel (see picture).
