I bought this vehicle for the purpose of reselling it on ebay. I have a high school friend who owns an auto dealership in Ky. He allows me to check out his trade ins and lease returns for this purpose. When I find one that I'm interested in, I have it checked out mechanically. If the vehicle needs only minor repair, I buy it and have the repairs done. This 2500 HD needed a muffler, blower fan switch and a cleaning. This Silverado runs and drives great. The engine(6.0 liter Vortec 8cyl.), transmission( heavy duty 4 speed automatic) preform as expected, with no unusual noises, leaks or smoking, from either, warm or cold. The transfer case works as expected with no problems shifting in and out of 4X4. The truck is equipped with 16", 8 lug, steel wheels, front tow hooks, tilt steering wheel, dual zone climate control, am/fm stereo, dual front air bags, cloth interior, 40/20/40 split bench seat, and a/c. All of the afore mentioned equipment is in good working order. The GVWR is 9200lbs. The rear axle codes are GT5and G80, this denotes that the rearend is a limited slip, locking differential with a 4:10 gear. The truck also has off road skid plates. The exterior has some minor dings, and scratches in a few places around the truck. These dents and scratches are mainly on the passenger side door and bedside. There is also a number of rock chips on the lower part of both doors. This truck appears to have had some previous body work on both bed sides. The paint finish is fine, but the sides are somewhat "wavy"(I tried to show this in the pictures). The tires are a set of Cooper Discoverer STT's and are size LT245/75R16. The tires are @ 75%. I do have the owner's manuals and the original window sticker for the truck. I was told this truck is a one owner leased new and fleet serviced by a large company. However, I have no proof of this claim. If anyone is interested in a more complete history of this vehicle, Carfax or Autocheck, maybe able to help.
