This 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4 is offered as is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Items mentioned below are those that we were aware of at the time of the listing. It is powered by a 4.0 Liter 6 cylinder fuel injected engine and a 4-spd automatic transmission with lockup torque converter. It is equipped with 4 wheel antilock brakes, remote keyless entry, A/C, power windows and door locks, AM/FM stereo with cassette player and dual elect remote side view mirrors. This vehicle spent a fair amount of it’s service life on the beach exposed to salt air. Aside from the transmission being bad, the uni-body channel forward of the passenger side rear wheel is severely rotted, as can be seen in the photos. It is recommended that this vehicle be purchased for parts only. It does not move and will need to be towed or transported via flatbed. Engine runs a little rough. Transmission is bad. Vehicle had to be towed in. Uni-body channel forward of passenger side rear wheel severely rotted. We were unable to assess the 4x4 functionality due to the transmission failure, however, there were no prior driver complaints about the 4 wheel drive. Oil leaks from engine and tranny. Rearend pinion seal leaking ABS light is on. Power windows only work from the driver’s door controls. A/C blow warm air. Chip in windshield. Front passenger side door does not open from the outside. Interior in fair condition. A number of dents, scratches, and rust spots can be seen in the photos.
