This 1997 Ford Ranger Pickup is offered as is, with no warranty expressed or implied. This is a 4x2 model with a 108” wheelbase. It is equipped with a 2.3 Liter 4 cyl engine with an O/D automatic transmission. This truck is not equipped with A/C. Engine has a slight hesitation on acceleration from a stop, but runs well otherwise. Transmission fluid is burnt and it shifts late from 1st to 2nd. Over-drive is not working. Front end needs work. Vehicle wanders on the road and steering sounds loose when going over bumps. Battery is weak. Back-up lights inop. Left tail light lens broken. Interior in fair shape. Driver’s seat torn and springs worn. Exterior in poor condition with numerous dents, scratches, dings and rust spots, which can be seen in the photos. Tires are legal, but will need to be replaced soon. This vehicle is owned by a municipality and email inquiries can only be answered during the normal business hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm (eastern time), Monday through Friday. Email inquiries sent over a weekend or holiday will be answered on the next regular business day. The successful bidder must pick the vehicle up at our location in Oakdale, Long Island, New York and a certified bank check (bank must have branches in New York State) or U.S. Post Office money orders are the only forms of payment accepted. Full payment is expected within 7 days of the auctions close. A copy of the buyer’s driver’s license is required to complete the transaction.
