Vehicle Detail

Time to part with this hot 74 Cuda. This car was top of the line for the 74 Cuda's. 1 of only 398 made with this motor and tranny not to mention there are 25 additional factory options on the 2 fender tags. It has the E58 option 360 High Performance premium motor and the D21 4 speed A833 Pistol grip short shifter tranny. If you're going to restore a later Cuda...this would be the one to do. Right off the bat, I will say this car needs a restoration, it needs a trunk pan, rockers are a bit soft in places, floors have a few small holes, quarters have been radiused for the big tires, pass seat hinge is broken, it needs some attention. I will also add, it's not a rust bucket. Frame is solid, torque boxs look good. This car was registered and driven on the road up until 2008. It is completly roadworthy the way it sits but does need a carb. rebuild, some fresh gas and a tune up for sure. Its been sitting for about 2 years. This car was built up a bit, street raced, and a few times at the track running 12:20's in the 1/4 mile. Some performance up-grades. It has a serious cam in it (don't know the lift), heavy Centerforce clutch ( it's either in or out), TTI exhaust, Demon 750, electric fuel pumps, all the gauges, push button starter, 3:73 gears, etc. I will post many pictures of the car but I encourage you to ask any and all questions befor bidding. Somebody out there is going to love this car. This car is being sold as is with no expressed guarantees. I am describing this car to the best of my knowledge but it your responsibility to assure your comfort in bidding. The NADA lists this car at $17,400 Low and $25,600 Mid without the 25% mark up for the motor and tranny, not to mention the other factory options. Buyer is responsible for pick up of the car and all costs for transport. Ask any questions if you need to. My reserve will be below the Nada Low. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours to the successful winner. Cash or bank check (cleared) for the balance within a week. The car will not be loaded until funds clear. I will gladly help load the car onto a transporter or even deliver it within a reasonable distance. Good luck.On Sep-10-10 at 15:29:05 PDT, seller added the following information: I have received questions about certain areas of rust on the car. I am posting more pictures of the rockers, cowl, toque boxs and door bottoms. I posted my description and after taking these pics the good news is the rockers are not bad at all, definitly don't need to be replaced. There is a little rust towards the rear of them but not to bad. The frame and torque boxs are excellent, fenders are good, cowl looks fine, door bottoms only minor surface rust. The car does need a trunk pan, the quarters behind the tires are a bit rough, hood is good, trunk lid is good, floors are patched all the way forward but where your feet would go they look fine. All in all it looks better than I thought. Fired right up but runs rough, bad gas or carb re-build, running very rich. Brakes stop fine, feels good. See new pics posted and feel free to ask any other questions.
