1962 Volkswagon bug.. This bug was in storage for over 15 years... The orig color is Ruby Red with white interior.. The previous owner was the orig owner and has since passed away.. He painted it brown and covered the white interior with black.. The car is all orig.. 36hp motor.. orig glass, tail light lens etc.. The dash is in the orig color as the doors are also in ruby red.. The orig stickers that show the wipers lights etc. in German are orig and still on the dash.. Still has orig exhaust with no leaks all the way to the orig installation around the motor compartment.. Since I have owned the bug I have checked the engine out and it runs perfect.. The transmission is in great condition as well as the clutch... I took it to a bug specialist and spent over $1000.00 dollars having the brake system completely redone to factory condition as when it was new.. New master cylinder, brake lines, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, brake fluid resouiver, brake drums.. The brake system is perfect and the car runs great and is all orig except for paint and interior color... Interior has orig seats, mirrors all the way down to the carpet.. This is a perfect car for restoration or drive as it is.. This bug restored is well worth over twenty thousand dollars.. It is a true surivor that has never been modified except (paint interior color)...
